This is a non-alcoholic vegan take on the Whiskey Sour.
I’ve always loved the way those creamy cocktails looked when egg whites were used to “fluff” it up when shaken in with the other ingredients. However, I did not want to use egg whites and thought I’d give aquafaba a try. Aquafaba is simply the liquid in a can of beans.
We opened the can, drained the liquid, set aside the beans and made hummus out of them while we sipped our beverage we made!
- Add ice to your shaker and glass.
To the shaker add…
- 2oz Turmeric Elixir
- 1oz Aquafaba
- juice from 1/2 lemon
- 3-5 frozen sour cherries
- Shake that baby for a good 30 seconds or so!
- Pour into your nice cold glass of ice.
